^ One of my controllers after someone "fixed" it :D It didn't have the other sticker at all...
DIY / Fix Vectrex stickers
You can repare / replace your missing or damaged stickers with these that i made. Feel free to use these anyway you want. Please let me know if you are planning to make some good quality replacement stickers. I need some too!
Im planning to print these on some thicker and better quality paper. I might need to do some fine tuning on the holes, so beware that i havent tested these yet!
I also have this 2 inch wide roll of double sided thin tape. Witch is just enough to attach the fascia on controller.
For finnishing the surface i need to find some book covering / laminating roll, that has the frosted finnish on it. Not the clear one. I think i can get it from any book- / hobbyist store.
I dont recommend to use clear tape on it, it will start to loose from the surface. Cause it cant handle the wear so well.
If you want to fix your old plastic stickers: you can use some break wash / break cleaner to get the sticker residue from the controller and plastic (works on cardboard boxes / manuals too!). Try to straight out the surface. Then use that thin double sided tape to put it back. YOU CANT JUST PEAL THE CORNERS TO OPEN THE CONTROLLER, OR YOUR STICKER WILL LOOK LIKE SHIT! And try to find something thin plastic (like playing card, guitar pick, etc.) to peal of the original sticker. If you use metal or some other sharp hard objects, you might spoil the original sticker.
THESE ARE JUST PICTURES FOR EXAMPLE! YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE BIG PICTURES FROM "HERE"!
This site doesnt let me to keep big pictures. And i dont know any other good site to keep them linked to this page. Let me know if the download link is dead! There is some differences in the pictures and they are not 100% accurate. And you can colour them your self if you want.
Brightnes depends from are you going to use clear or frosted layer on the picture.
